2. Add the OneBip button

Through our “wizard” adding the OneBip button to your website is fast and easy. Simply login to your account, click on “Add new site”. Fill in the form, and save your site. Now you just need to “Add a new item” for your site: you can create as many items as you want for each of your sites, using different buttons, price point and descriptions. For more advanced integration please refer to the OneBip Integration Guide (scripting languages required).

How to use it?

Digital Content

OneBip can be integrated simply creating "Buy Now" buttons directly linked to the products, or it can be linked with an existing catalogue and checkout system. Some typical digital goods sold with this kind of integration include music, articles, pictures, videos, multimedia products, flash, online and executable games, and any other product that buyers can download directly after purchase.

Memberships

OneBip can easily be integrated into sites featuring premium member areas: using some simple parameters, the customers can start from the website, pay via OneBip and be directly given all necessary permissions to access their member area.

Digital credits

Digital Credits are a growing way of handling premium contents and services on the Web: what the user pays is converted in "virtual money" that can be spent inside communities, or to download files from a catalogue. Some possible examples include dating communities, stock photos catalogues, online games, virtual malls, and internet services like hosting, disk space, etc.

FAQ

1. HOW DOES IT WORK?

The OneBip payment process is very simple: the end user enters his/her number in the payment page, clicks on the "buy" button, receives a text message to confirm the purchase, and is finally redirected to your site to get the good or service.
The system is very well established and open to anyone with a mobile (Cell) phone. Anyone who has sent or received a text message already knows how to use these payment solutions.
First time users have to register and opt-in their mobile phones for security reasons, and to prevent any charge back.

2. HOW DOES THE MONEY PASS FROM THE BUYER'S MOBILE PHONE TO THE MERCHANT?

The different Network carriers charge the owner of the mobile phone for the service, and collect the money. Once they have collected the money, the carriers deduct an amount for providing the service. Local Tax may be deducted, and then the balance is paid to us, and we then pay you.

3. WHAT CAN I USE IT FOR?

OneBip can be used for a whole range of digital goods and services. You can offer access to a members area, or page on your web site. You can sell a specific product or add credits to a user account. 4. HOW DO I ADD ONEBIP TO MY WEBSITE?

Integration is easy. Access your online admin area and you will even find some simple cut and paste codes. If you want, we can support you step by step. Please check the Resource Center to find more information about integration.

5. WHICH COUNTRIES CAN I USE IT IN?

OneBip is currently available in the United Kingdom,  Germany, and it will be available in the United States during 1Q 2007. Other countries in which the system will be available include Austria - Belgium - Bulgaria - Czech Republic - Denmark - Finland - France - Greece - Ireland - Italy - Holland - New Zealand - Norway - Portugal - Poland - Romania - Spain - Sweden - Switzerland - Turkey.
Other countries may be available on request.

6. ARE THERE ANY SET-UP FEE AND MONHTLY ONGOING FEES?

No. Though some companies charge set-up fees and then Gateway fees, OneBip has no set up fee or on-going fees.  Our business model is a transaction fee, so we get paid only if you generate revenues. Adding OneBip to your site has no direct costs for you!

7. WHAT RATES DO YOU PAY?

OneBip applies a small transaction fee, that for example is 10% to 25% + £ 0,35 for the UK.

8. I KEEP SEEING THESE TERMS, MO AND MT: WHAT DO THEY MEAN?
MO (SMS): stands for Mobile Originated (SMS) and means the message has been sent from the mobile phone. In this case is the end user that send the SMS from its moble phone.  MT (SMS): Mobile Terminated (SMS), is a message sent from us to the end users mobile phone. In this case the end user receives the SMS on his/her mobile.

9. WHAT DOES SMS STAND FOR?

SMS simply means Short Message System or Service, which is commonly referred to as text messaging. The owner of a mobile phone is able to Text a message to other users. You might have seen television ads asking you to text a message into the show. SMS messages are used to communicate, but can also be used, as OneBip does, to charge end users on their pre-paid card or bill statement. Those SMS messages are called Premium SMS.

10. MY ONLINE REPORTS SHOW A DIFFERENT AMOUNT TO WHAT I HAVE BEEN PAID?

The online reports show the number of sales. Like credit card reports, these are an indication of how many sales there have been, and not of actual money collected. As in the case of online credit card use this can vary. This is actually something that is beyond OneBip's control, as it is mainly determined by the Telecom Networks. A lower amount can be due to some simple errors in how the various carriers use and collect for Premium rate SMS, or also to the end user, that for example may have only £2 in credit on his phone and then order an item for £3. Our system performs a real time credit check to verify if user has sufficient funds to complete its purchase, but the carriers may anyway take the funds the user has, and try for the balance later. If they can not collect the money, then they will stop the payment. As with credit cards, we can only pay you when transactions are completed.
